Secondary Heater Pad

These secondary dew heater pads are designed to work with 12V power supplies and produce heat to keep dew off of the secondary mirror.  A simple design but work extremely well.

We currently have four different sizes in the stable, starting from 2.5 inch width flats, up to 4 Inch.  They won't work with secondaries that are glued to a central stalk, but are placed in contact to the rear face of the mirror and can either be held in place using the wadding as supplied with some rolled tube holders, or a small amount of silicone glue can be used to attach to the rear of the mirror.

If you don't feel confident to solder wire to the heater, then we can do this for you.  Just specify what cable type, length and connector style you would like by using the drop down options.  If your options aren't listed, then drop us a message and we'll do our best to fulfil your requirements.

N.B.  Red indicator LED does not come as standard, but can be supplied directly soldered to the heater or via a flying lead for a visual indication of the heater in operation.  Please choose this option from the drop down selection box below.
